Why All the Green?
People ask me from time to time why there is so much green in Mid-Shift Mentality.
The logo is green. The graphics are green. The website is green. If you've followed my content for any length of time, you've probably noticed that green shows up almost everywhere.
The funny thing is, I'm not exactly sure where it started.
As far back as I can remember, green has always been my favorite color.
When I was a kid, green was the color I picked whenever I had a choice. When I ate candy, I always saved the green pieces for last because those were the best ones. When I started following football in the 1990s and had to choose a favorite team, one of the reasons I became a New York Jets fan was because they wore green.
It sounds simple, maybe even a little silly, but the color has always stood out to me.
For most of my life, I never gave it much thought. Green was just my favorite color.
Then Mid-Shift Mentality came along.
As I started building this movement and thinking about what it represents, I realized something. The color green already represented many of the things I wanted Mid-Shift Mentality to stand for.
Green means go, take action!
In nature, green means growth!
Green is the color of life moving forward.
And isn't that what Mid-Shift Mentality is all about?
Every day people wake up feeling stuck. They feel like they're drifting through life, going through routines, repeating the same habits, and wondering why nothing is changing.
Mid-Shift Mentality exists to help people move from drifting to driven.
That process is growth.
It is becoming more intentional.
It is becoming more disciplined.
It is becoming more aware.
It is becoming the person you were created to be.
The more I thought about it, the more green felt like the perfect color.
To me, green is not just a color anymore.
Green represents possibility.
It represents progress.
It represents the decision to keep moving forward even when growth feels slow.
It reminds me that no matter where you are today, you can improve tomorrow.
You can learn.
You can adapt.
You can grow.
You can become stronger than you were yesterday.
That's why you'll continue to see green throughout Mid-Shift Mentality.
Not because it's trendy.
Not because a marketing expert told me to use it.
Not because it looks good on a logo.
You'll see green because it represents the journey.
The journey from confusion to clarity.
The journey from inconsistency to discipline.
The journey from reacting to thinking ahead.
The journey from drifting to driven.
Maybe that's why I've loved the color all these years without really knowing why.
Maybe part of me always understood what it represented.
Growth.
Progress.
Potential.
And the belief that who you are today does not have to be who you are tomorrow.
So if you've ever wondered, "Why all the green?"
Now you know.
It's more than a color.
It's a reminder to keep growing.
Live Driven.
